Lucky Black-Eyed Peas Chocolate Chip Blondies

We had this black-eyed pea dessert for dinner one night, because it was that kind of week. My daughter made them, she said they were really easy to pull together.

The batter tastes a lot like beans, but the final product doesn’t! They are good. I’m not the biggest fan of the almond flake texture of them, but the rest of my family didn’t mind. I do have a few more black-eyed cookie/cake recipes planned for the next few weeks, so will keep experimenting a bit.
