Yup, this black-eyed pie recipe knows what it is doing. The pecans on top get a little sugar caramelization going on, the pie filling has a good solid texture, and whipping cream on top is perfect. We made it with this coconut pie crust which was a nice complement (used normal butter instead of vegan). A great end to black-eyed pea month 🙂
