Orange Spice Garbanzo Cake

Made this spice cake. It was fantastic. There was a package of edible flowers for sale in my grocery store so I bought them for decoration and it was lovely.

The cake was a little too flat, partly because I used a 8×11 pan instead of the recommended 8×8. I think it still would be too flat though, I’d recommend tripling the recipe and then baking it in an 8×11.

Don’t skip the cloves! Cloves are delicious. I added a bit of cardamom as well. I also added some mostly-thawed-frozen cranberries into the mix right at the end and that was a great addition.

Will be making this again.
